Job descripton

As a System Design Engineer at MERPHI, you will play a pivotal role in the design and development of cutting-edge systems. You will collaborate with a diverse team of engineers and contribute to the creation of robust and scalable solutions. Responsibilities and tasks

Main technical contact for the area/system
Technical ownership for the design, requirements, interfaces & quality assurance within the area/system
Lead cross functional development work within the area/system
Drive and deliver development of Technical Road Map and communicate it to concerned parties
Secure Concept Investigation and Technical Development and take the Concept for approval through different decision forums (i.e., QDCF)
Secure Knowledge Management within the area/system through guidelines, area/system meetings, benchmarking, on-going initiatives, customer feedback etc.
Secure Technical Knowledge in Pre- & Feasibility Studies and secure the Concept Development within their area, contact other areas if impacted.
Secure analysis of Start Cost Project Prerequisites and give input for Project Technical Descriptio

Requirements

Minimum 4 years of working experience as a System Design Engineer
BSc or MSc degree in electrical/software engineering or equivalent is highly valuable as well as previous experience of System Design /Architect roles
Previous experience and network from GTT or VBC are considered as meritorious
You have a basic understanding of Driver Interaction system and vehicle domain knowledge and CAN signaling & basic diagnostics knowledge
Good knowledge of Develop Product (DP) process and other relevant processes within the group
Expert communication and networking skills
Good leadership and planning skillsVery good skills in driving Technology Development
Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
The work requires skills in both teamwork and individual work, autonomy, and the ability to work in a team are key
Open-minded and proactive, structured and a drive to take the lead is an advantage
